New Book on Creation in the Early Church Fathers

This book shows what the theology of the early church fathers was on the issue of creation. It looks very interesting.

I’m about half-way through it right now and it is very interesting. It is written by Peter Bouteneff who is Eastern Orthodox, so he has a lot invested in what the early Christian interpreters said about the creation narratives. What makes it more interesting is that he begins with Paul and the NT, exploring their interpretations of the creation narratives, and then turns to the early Church fathers. Definitely a good read.

What is his conclusion on the days of creation in the early church fathers? I already know that he doesn’t seem to focus on that so much as on Christology in the creation narratives, but I wondered if he talked about it at all.
